Creating Stand-Alone Ebooks

- In other computers that don't have your software installed, instead of launching the website, the user gets a small window with the title "HTML Executable IE Runtime is missing" and prompting the user to download your software. Is there a way for that the exe file will be able to work even when this software is not installed on his pc? Ebooks made with HTML Executable require a common DLL file called a runtime module. To allow you to make smaller ebooks, this runtime module can be distributed and installed separately as it is the same for all ebooks made with HTML Executable. But in this case, users first need to install the runtime module in order to view your ebooks.
Now you can also include the runtime module in your ebook .exe file so you do not need to distribute/install the runtime module to users. Therefore your ebook will be a real stand-alone program file that does not require any other file to be run.
To create a stand-alone ebook in HTML Executable, just follow these steps:
- select "Publication Output"
- select "Advanced Options" and then "Runtime Module"
- enable "Create a single stand-alone .exe"
Compile your ebook again and you are done.
