- it may be a hardware problem, the computer you are using is old or it does not meet the minimum system requirements for publications.
- you compiled a very large number of files (several thousands). When the publication starts, it first reads the entire file index. The time required for this operation depends on the number of files.
- you included large files (several MB such as video, sound files). All files must be first unpacked to the memory or the hard disk in order to be displayed, so the operation may take some time for large files.
- you used strong file compression options.
- there is not enough free memory or free space.
- some third-party program may interfere or slow down the system.
- your compiled website uses a lot of JavaScript scripts or external ActiveX plug-ins like Flash, AutoCad, PDF...
