Articulate is a company that provides software products to generate Flash-based presentations and e-learning courses. HTML Executable is able to convert content produced with Articulate products into single and secure working executable files. Here you have a screenshot of a presentation made with Articulate and converted to a stand-alone EXE file with HTML Executable:
Note: only IE publications are able to handle Articulate content.
In some complex presentations, you may get problems for playing some embedded elements like quizzes or Engage content. The purpose of this topic is to help you to fix these problems. If you are still having trouble, please contact the support team or post your query to our forum.
If the folder produced by Articulate contains JPEG files, you should add .JPEG to the Special Extension list as explained in this topic: Loading JPEG files in Flash. It also works with any other image format.
If the folder produced by Articulate contains MP3 files and no FLV/MP4, you have several options:
- go to the Tools / Environment Options, Additional Options and enable Use the built-in protocol instead of HTTP.
- or enable the built-in HTTP server as explained in this topic: Playing MP3 with Flash.
- or use full URLs to your MP3 files. These full URLs must begin with ghe://heserver/[virtual path to your MP3]
If the folder produced by Articulate contains both MP3 files and FLV/MP4:
- go to the Tools / Environment Options, Additional Options and enable Use the built-in protocol instead of HTTP.
- use full URLs to your MP4 and FLV files. These full URLs must begin with http://heserver/[virtual path to your MP4 or FLV]
